Highbury Hall wedding

Cherry contacted me to play the harp for her wedding at Highbury Hall (Moseley), a darling pink event filled with love and beautiful music.

Cherry and her love joined me at my home to choose the music for their January wedding. We went through loads of classical pieces, famous musical numbers and popular love songs….selecting Wagner’s traditional Bridal Chorus for the bride’s entrance and It’s Now or Never by Elvis for their recessional.

Highbury Hall is a beautiful venue for a wedding, capable of hosting hundreds or intimate events of around 50, as in the case of Cherry’s wedding.

Many family and friends flew in from China for the wedding and were thrilled with the harp and the darling pink table settings – not to mention the love-filled ceremony! Music again crossed the language barrier as several people hummed or sang along to popular pieces such as My Heart Will Go On, A Time for Us and Moon River.
