Wedding Drinks Reception at the Fairlawns Hotel

Making a grand entrance to their wedding drinks reception, Steph and Neil joined their guests on the terrace of the Fairlawns Hotel to Ed Sheeran’s Thinking Out Loud on the harp!

The weather was just warming up from a cold snap when, in mid-May, Steph and Neil became Mr and Mrs Hennessy at a little church in Streetly village.

The celebrations really got underway at the local Fairlawns Hotel and Spa in Sutton Coldfield, with a drinks reception on the patio. Thankfully the sun came out and the awnings were thrown back, creating a welcoming and festive atmosphere.

The bride and groom arrived in style in a vintage car, and to the beautiful sound of Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran on the harp. This song was a special request by Steph, who didn’t want a big fuss but did want something meaningful and special.

“To have Michelle playing at our wedding reception was one of the ‘last-minute’ decisions of our wedding, however it was the best. More of our guests commented on Michelle’s fantastic musical ability & the ‘wow’ factor it added to our day than anything else. Michelle thank-you so much for such a fantastic couple of hours of music at our wedding. It really made our wedding absolutely perfect.”
