Moxhull Hall Outdoor Drinks Reception

With the gorgeous weather we’ve been having in Sutton Coldfield, it was so much fun to play my harp outdoors for Matthew and Lauren’s drinks reception at Moxhull Hall.

Lauren and Matt got married at Holy Trinity Catholic Church mid-day in the glorious sunshine – then accompanied by family and friends, came to Moxhull Hall for photographs, drinks reception and wedding breakfast.

The couple requested popular music with a mix of classical and Disney pieces for the two-hour drinks reception.  I welcomed the first guests to the Moxhull Hall patio with Colours of the Wind from Pocahontas, followed by I Giorno, She’s Like the Wind and All of Me.

The children were particularly enamoured with the harp, so after showing them how the pedals work and letting them try to make a sound on the strings, I accompanied them as they sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Thinking Out Loud.  It was SO sweet – and hopefully one of the guests will provide a video so I can share it here.

A huge thank you to Lauren and Matt for having harp music during your drinks reception – and letting me be a part of your magical wedding day.  Congratulations!
