Windweaver Flute and Harp Duo
The Windweaver Flute and Harp Duo in Anchorage, Alaska was created by flutist Barbara Eberhart and harpist Michelle (Sloan) Dalton. As professional musicians, we came together to explore the beauty of these two instruments together.
The pinnacle of our performances together was the benefit concert for the Alaska Fine Arts Academy, an organisation close to Michelle’s heart as the founders (Eleanor and Arthur Braendel) were her first music teachers and members of the Borealis Trio with her grandmother. Michelle served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Academy and assisted with raising funds and the profile of the Academy.
