Harp Music for Drinks Reception in Italian Garden

Live harp music added to the elegant ambiance in the walled Italian garden at Arley Arboretum where the newly-married Mr and Mrs Link held their drinks reception.

Terri and Terry got married at the local church in Arley on a gorgeous, sunny July afternoon.  The 100 family and friends then joined them at the stunning Arley Arboretum inside the walled Italian Garden for a drinks reception prior to their meal in the marquee.

The Italian Garden did not require any decorations, the reflection pools and active fountain are surrounded by fauna and flora in full bloom.  The little gazebo at the far end of the garden was perfect for my golden harp, and with its wooden ceiling the acoustics were amazing…..the sounds of Fur Elise, Wind Beneath My Wings, Harp of the Western Wind and Annie’s Song carried throughout the garden.

Terri and Terry requested I play All of Me by John Legend when they made their entrance into the garden, followed by the love theme from The Godfather.

I was so grateful to receive so many wonderful compliments from the guests about how beautiful the music was and how much they enjoyed it.  Someone even said they thought it was a recording until they saw the harp in the gazebo!

“Thank you so much for playing at our wedding yesterday! It was even more perfect than we ever could have imagined and we had so many compliments on how beautiful it sounded! Your such a lovely lady too, couldn’t have been happier! Thanks again Mr and Mrs Link x”IMG_8983
